Try making this way the taste comes out double you will love this combination of methi mutter with masala.

Wash and drain methi and mutter together and you can see I have not chopped the methi leaves keep as it is and, next cut 2 onion, 1 tomato,1 green chilli, chopped 6 to 7 garlic cloves.Next take a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and add onion and green chilli and saute till onion gets soft. And next add garlic and saute don't make brown just saute for 2 minutes.

Next add turmeric, salt and tomatoes and mix well and let tomatoes gets soft you can see it has been totally smashed and cooked.The masala is ready.

Next add methi and mutter and mix well with masala check salt if required and close the lid and keep for 5 to 10 minutes till the water leaving from methi gets dry and check in between when it is cooked you can see the methi is totally cooked with masala.

Serve this delicious methi mutter with chapati.
