Ingredients

  • 3 cupsbesan/gram flour
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 1lemon juice
  • 1/2 tspsoda
  • 1/2 tspHaldi / turmeric
  • 1 packetEno soda (fruit salt)
  • as neededOil for tadka
  • 1 tspMustard Seed
  • 2Green chilli chopped
  • 8 to 10Curry leaves
  • as neededCoriander leaves for Garnish
  • as neededWater
  • to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl put besan and add sugar,soda, lemon juice, and salt mix properly and add water how much you want in batter. The like dosa batter and keep aside for 10 min..

    In a idli cooker put water and heat it.the besan batter mix again and add the eno soda and mix properly put in oil greased Dhokla plates in steamer.

    The steamed for 15 min.besan Dhokla is ready

  4. 4

    In a pan put oil and heat and add mustard seeds and green chilli and curry leaves and add water boils comes off the flame and tadka put in the steamed khaman dhoklas.

    The besan khaman dhokla is ready to serve with green chutney or sauce.

    Garnish with coriander leaves.
