Ingredients

  1. 2/3 cupbrown sugar firmly packed
  2. 2/3 cupsugar
  3. 1/2 cupbutter
  4. 1/2 cupshortening
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 2 tspvanilla extract
  7. 1 tspbaking soda
  8. 1large egg
  9. 2 cupflour
  10. 2 cupchocolate chip

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 375°

  2. 2

    In a large bowl combine the sugars, butter, shortening, salt, vanilla, and baking soda. Beat until smooth and creamy.

    Mix in flour, then chips

  4. 4

    Bake cookies 10 to 12 minutes
