Bring the milk to boil in heavy bottom pan

Once boiled turn off the flame add lemon salt with water mixed. Cover the lid allow to sit for 5 min. This is the time when milk take to curdle

Now put the pan back on heat, now cook curdled mixture on medium to high flame for about 30 to 40 min. Until whey has evaporated

Now next add sugar and stir well until it has dissolved completely.

Add vinegar and cook it for 8 to 10 min.

Then add cocoa powder, maida, along with ghee, this will make mixture glossy. Continue to stir, once once halwa start leave the sides of pan, sprinkle elaichi powder, mix well till combined.

To set the Habshi Halwa grease the plate with ghee, transfer the cooked halwa to it, press it with your finger, allow it to cool down completely, and turn firm, slice it.

Serve this halwa along with paal paysam during a festival lunch.
