Spicy Chick peas gravy

Heat a oil in a deep pan add cinnamon stick, red chilli bay leaf and cumin seeds,sauté a minute.

Now add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and sauté till they turn in golden brown.

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, curry masala, chilli powder and turmeric, mix well and cook a minute.

Add tomato purée and cook till oil leaves sides of pan.

If you want thick gravy you can add 1/4 cup of chick purée(optional) but I added. mix well

Now add boiled chick peas mix well and add 1/4 cup of water and salt, mix well

Simmer and cook covered for 10 minutes. After that add chopped coriander leaves and Garam Masala mix well and off the flame.

Transfer in to a serving bow and serve with rice or naan.
