Steps

Boil chanaDal in cooker and give 3 whistles.For one cup of chana Dal add three cups of water.

Take a kadai add ghee,jaggery and lil water and stir it till all the jaggery gets dissolved.Now add cooked chana Dal to this and keep stirring it in low flame untill it thickens.

And also note that chana Dal should not be fully cooked and the lentils should be left as shown in the pic.Now add raisins, cardamom powder for garnishing.Add ghee before serving and serve it hot or cold.
