Soak rice for atleast 30 minutes. Soak saffron in little milk and keep aside.

In a pan add milk and bring it to a boil..add washed and soaked rice, add to saffron milk and cook till thick..

Add sugar, cardamom powder and nuts. Cook for 30 minute to low flame.

Yummy and tasty kheer is ready.
