Ingredients

  • Ingredients for puree
  • 3chopped tomato
  • 15soaked cashew nuts
  • 2 tspGinger
  • 2cardamom
  • Pinchsalt
  • 2-3cloves
  • For masala
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 2 tbspoil
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tspKasuri methi
  • 1Bey leaves
  • 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonCoriander powder
  • As needed Water
  • 1Chopped onion
  • 2 tspChopped green coriander leaves
  • 1 tspKasuri methi
  • To tasteGaram masala
  • 250 gmpaneer
  • 2 tbspgrated paneer
  • 1/2 teaspoonJeera powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 2 tsp butter and 2 tsp oil.
    saute 1 bay leaf, 1 inch cinnamon, 1 chilli and 1 tsp kasuri methi

  2. 2

    Add choppedonion and saute well until the onions turn golden brown add  turmeric,chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder.

  3. 3

    Add in prepared tomato puree and mix well.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook for 10 minutes,
    add water, salt as per taste and mix well. Add  paneer and 2 tbsp grated paneer. mix and cook well.Turn off the flame

  5. 5

    Add garam masala and coriander mix well.

  6. 6

    Serve it with roti, chapati, Puri, Parantha
