Steps
- 1
Boil the potatoes and corns. Drain the water and let it cool.
- 2
In a grinder add boiled corns along with green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger and garlic. And make a coarse paste.
- 3
Take this paste out in a wide bowl and add boiled potatoes, grated carrot and finely chopped capsicum.
- 4
With the help of a potato masher mash this up thoroughly. Season with all the dry masala like salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, dry mango powder, coriander powder, turmeric and roasted cumin powder.
- 5
Add 1 cup of oats powder to this mix which will help in binding the batter.
- 6
Mix well and cover the vessel and refrigerate the batter for 1/2 an hour.
- 7
Take the batter out from the fridge and make large tikkis and roll it on bamboo skewers.
- 8
Take a non stick pan and fry these kababs on a low to medium heat from all sides by turning them time to time till golden brown.
- 9
Serve with mint chutney or ketchup.
