Sugar Cookies (for Decorating)

Steps

Preheat oven to 350F cream together softened butter, powdered sugar. Add egg and extract/flavor.

Add Flour, baking powder, salt. Mix thoroughly

Roll out on parchment paper(don't sprinkle with flour, it makes it dry, you may use Powdered Sugar) And Cut your cookies!:) (Or freeze first If you prefer10minutes, then cut, I freeze after cutting, it's not required, but I prefer it)

Bake for 4-8 minutes. Depending on cookie size, pan style, and oven type.
Baking does not alter shape much!:) (I bake 4 minutes/turn my tray bake 4 minutes, in my other oven 1 pan bakes 6m turn 6m, the other pan 9m turn 9m) - 5
Note: no oil in any color/flavor can go in the icing(add it to the dough if need be, NOT the icing) Note:icing recipe listed seperately. Note:be sure to ice cookies at least a day after baking(so the natural oils can be released) Note:thanks to Sugar Belle for the recipe(my pictures though!)
