In a bowl mix flour milk 1 tablespoon of the cardamom and cinamom plus the yeast and baking powder. Cover it up for about 20-30 min and allow to rise.

Taka a sufuria or cooking pot put in the sugar and water and start cooking it till it turns brownish(plus inate kwa mwiko) set it aside

Once the mixture has risen take your karai or pan put some oil and let it heat. When the oil is hot enough start frying the kaimatis (kindly wet your fingers with water then okote mchanganyiko wako na uchome)

Once you are done with the kaimatis place the sugar syrup (shira) on the heat once more till it becomes liquid again as it would have solidified. Place your kaimatis on the syrup while it is still on the heat (halafu zipepete ukizirudisha kwa moto) till it forms the crystals (do not use a mwiko while doing this process) place them on a large sinia or tray to cool off enjoy your kaimatis with some hot coco or a beverage of your choice 😗 ps I take orders just inbox
