  • 1 lbbag of dried pinto beans
  • 1 cupbrown sugar
  • 3/4 cupbarbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cupapple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cupketchup
  • 1 clovegarlic
  • 1medium sweet onion
  • 2 Tbsmolasses
  • 1 cupbourbon
  • 2 cupswater
  • salt pork or several strips of bacon
  • 1 1/2 TbsDried Mustard
  • 2 TbsWorcester sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak beans in water overnight.

  2. 2

    Dice onion

  3. 3

    Cook bacon. If using salt pork brown on all sides.

  4. 4

    Add all Ingredients to Crockpot and cook on high for 6-8 hours.
