Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsmixed Green Leafy Veggies (Spinach, Fenugreek and so on)
  2. 2 cupsBesan (Gram flour)
  3. 1/2 cupRice flour
  4. as requiredSalt
  5. 1 tspChilli powder
  6. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  7. 1 cupYoghurt
  8. 1/2 tspBaking powder
  9. 2 tbspOil
  10. 1 tspSesame seeds
  11. few chopped Curry leaves
  12. 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  13. 2Green Chillies (chopped)
  14. 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  15. 1/2 tspCummin powder
  16. 1/2Lemon juice

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop green veggies, wash them and keep aside. Put flour in a big bowl add spices, lemon juice and yoghurt.
    Temper (Bagaar) of mustard seeds, sesame, curry leaves in oil and pour in the bowl.
    Add 1 tsp baking powder and mix well.
    Grease 2-3 empty tins (of evaporated or similar tins) and fill 3/4 of the tin with bhajia mixture.
    Put tins in steamer and steam till done.
    Let it cool down then cut slices.
    Deep fry till crisped up. Can garnish same as Arvi Pantras.
