Sabudana Khichdi

Sago/Sabudana are often made during fast in India and in variety of dishes, and this delicious, tangy, sweet and spicy Sabudana Khichdi has won many hearts. Make it during your fast or just as a tea time snack and relish.

In a pan, add 2 tbsp oil. Add peanuts and saute till changes colour. Set them aside.

Now add cumin seeds in leftover oil and let it splutter. Add chopped boiled potato, curry leaves and green chilli. Saute for a min.

Add soaked sago/sabudana. Mix well and add all dry spices.

Cover and cook. sabudana will change colour and get translucent once cooked.

Now add peanuts, sugar and lemon juice. Mix well.

Serve with some plain yogurt and/or crunchy Farhali Chivda.
