Ingredients

  • 1 cup: Sabudana/sago (Washed and soaked for 3-4 hours)
  • 2 tbsp: Raw peanuts
  • 1 cup: Boiled potato cubed
  • 1 tbsp: Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp: Green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp: cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp: salt
  • 1 tbsp: sugar
  • 1 tbsp: lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp: red chilli powder

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan, add 2 tbsp oil. Add peanuts and saute till changes colour. Set them aside.

  2. 2

    Now add cumin seeds in leftover oil and let it splutter. Add chopped boiled potato, curry leaves and green chilli. Saute for a min.

  3. 3

    Add soaked sago/sabudana. Mix well and add all dry spices.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook. sabudana will change colour and get translucent once cooked.

  5. 5

    Now add peanuts, sugar and lemon juice. Mix well.

  6. 6

    Serve with some plain yogurt and/or crunchy Farhali Chivda.
