Mango Blondie Bars with M&Ms

I had to make something sweet to go, after lunch for my Son's friends, as their exams were over and they had gathered at my place to play games.
Recently I got hold of mango flavoured chocolates with beautiful pale yellow colour and was thinking of using them in my bakes , got my ideas running for a mango blondie.
I had a few packets of M&Ms from my earlier bake, so thought of using them too. Which I was sure my kiddos will love for sure.
Guess what!!! they went crazy for the blondies.
Thank God that I doubled my recipe. Everything just vanished between their chuckles and laughter.

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven @180C for 12-15 minutes
- 2
Line a 7 inch square baking tray well with a over hang for easy removal of the blondies. I am doubling the recipe, therefore my tray is bigger.
- 3
Chop the chocolates and add in a large mixing bowl. It's a one bowl recipe. Keep on a double boiler and melt the chocolates
- 4
Also add the room temperature butter to the melting chocolates
- 5
Once done switch off flame and set aside to cool a little. Mixture must be smooth.
- 6
Add condensed milk and powdered at this point and mix well.
- 7
Sift the flour and baking powder into the wet mixture. Mix the batter just until combined.
- 8
Mix in your favourite toppings. Dry fruits, gems, chocolate chips or chunks and mix.
- 9
Pour the batter in the prepared tray. Bake for 40 minutes. Or until the surface is firm when touched.
- 10
Once done keep the tray over a wire rack to cool for 7-10 minutes. Then carefully remove the blondie by pulling out the baking paper.
- 11
Slice in 2 inch wide sqaures, with a sharp knife.
