To make the pastry. In a bowl add the flour, pinch of salt,egg and butter mix well then add water to form a dough. Take out from the bowl and roll flat, gently lift the flat pastry and fix in your which pan. Pad very well to the body of the pan and remove the remaining excess dough on the body of the pan. Blind bake for 20 minutes remove the baking beans and bake for another 15minute. Remove from the oven and set aside.

To make the filling: put your pan on fire, add the butter onion and bacon or ham fry for 5 minute, add the green beans, black pepper, salt and maggi to taste, fry for another 5 minutes and set aside.

In another bowl add the single cream, milk, eggs, cheese, pinch salt, pinch black pepper and maggi to taste (grate the cheese first before adding to the cream). Mix very well with fork or whisker

Now pour your ham and beans filling into the the pastry level it well in the pastry and pour in your liquid.

Bake in the oven for 150degree for an hour until it is brow to your satisfaction. Note your oven should not be over hot so that it will cook well inside

Once it is ready remove from the over set aside to cook before you can cut.
