Ingredients

  1. For cutlet:-
  2. 250 gm Boilers potato and mashed
  3. 1/2 tspGinger and chilli paste
  4. To taste Salt and red chilli powder
  5. 1 tbspCoriander leaves
  6. 1 tbspBread crumbs
  7. As neededOil
  8. For ragda
  9. 1 cupWhit dried peas boiled
  10. 1 tbspBesan
  11. 1 tspJeera
  12. 1/4 tspHing
  13. 1/2 cupTomato puree
  14. To taste Slat and red chilli powder
  15. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  16. 1 tspCoriander powder
  17. 1tspGaram masala
  18. 1 tbspOil
  19. 1/2 cupBeaten curd
  20. As neededGreen chutney
  21. As neededSweet chutney
  22. 1/2 cupNylon sev

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl mix all ingredients of cutlets.
    Take a ball size mixture and flatten it.

  2. 2

    Fry it on medium flame till crispy and golden brown. Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Now in a pressure cooker heat oil put jeera and hing. Add besan. Roast till light brown.

  4. 4

    Add tomato puree and cook for a minute. Add all dry masalas. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Put boiled mutter and add enough water. Cook it till 3-4 whistles.

  6. 6

    Now arrange cutlets in serving dish and pour ragda over it. Sprinkle both chutneys and curd over it.

  7. 7

    Garnish with nylon sev.
    Serve and enjoy chatpatta ragda chaat.
