Ingredients

  • For marination
  • 500 gmsChicken
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • For mixture
  • 1 tspdesi ghee
  • 1 tbspgarlic chopped
  • 4medium size onions thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tspCinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tspcloves powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1/2 tspblack cardamom powder
  • 1 tspfenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 cupcream or malai or mayonnaise
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededCoriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    1. Marinate the chicken in curd, and pepper for 30 mins.
    2. Take a thick based pan. Keep it on flame and add the marinated chicken in it. Add 1 tsp salt. Heat the chicken on medium flame for 30 mins till well cooked.

    3. Till the time chicken gets cooked, take a kadai and add oil to it.
    4. When the oil gets heated, add garlic and fry for a min till it gets light brown in colour.

    5. Add onions and fry them for a minute.
    6. Now add all the spices that is,salt, pepper,cinnamon powder, black cardamom powder, cumin powder and
    cloves powder. Mix well.

    7. Add cooked chicken to it and stir well.
    8. Now add cream and fenugreek leaves. Mix well.
    9. After 2-3 mins, remove it from flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
