Preheat oven to 425 deg F. Put cast iron pan in the oven while it preheats.

Bring steak to room temperature and coat with olive oil, the season with steak seasoning.

Once oven is preheated, remove cast iron pan and place on stove over med-high heat. After 3-4 min, put steak in dry cast iron pan and sear 45 - 60 seconds per side (depending on desired level of doneness.

After both sides have been seared, put cast iron pan in the oven and bake for 3-3:30 min, depending on the desired level of doneness. Flip steak and bake for an additional 3-3:30 min.

Remove steak from cast iron pan, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and let sit for 5 min
