Ingredients

30 minutes
3 servings
  1. 3-4 cupscooked rice
  2. 1/2 cupblanch palak/spinach puree
  3. 1/2 cuponions finely chopped
  4. 1/2 cuptomatoes finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cupboiled green peas
  6. 2 tbspginger garlic green chilli paste
  7. 1capsicum cut in to dice
  8. 1no Maggi cube
  9. 1 tspbiryani/ garam masala
  10. 1 tspcumin seeds
  11. 2 tbspoil
  12. to tasteSalt

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a broad non stick pan add the cumin seeds and onions and saute on a medium flame for 1-2 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add the ginger garlic green chilli paste and saute for 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the tomatoes, green peas, capsicum and saute for another 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add palak paste mix well and cook for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.

  5. 5

    Add the rice and salt, Maggi cubes, biryani masala and chilli powder and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Sreve hot with raita and papad.
