Kharvas is traditionally indian sweet made up of cow's colostrum milk and cow milk but here in this recipe ive used milk powder and curd. It has texture like paneer but is very soft and sweet in taste. It is so soft that it just melts in mouth.

Cooking Instructions

Arrange all the ingredients

Mix all the ingredients well. Make sure there are no lumps. Add cardamom powder and give it a nice stir.

Pour into the mould or a plate. No need of greasing it. Crush saffron strands and sprinkle over it.

Take water in a kadhai, keep dholka ring. Cover the mould with silver foil so that while steaming water doesn't drips on kharvas. Keep the mould in kadhai and steam it for 30 mins. Check with a toothpick if it's done. If not steam for some more time.

If the toothpick comes out clean, refrigerate the kharwas for 2-3 hrs.Serve chilled.
