Ingredients

  • 250 gramsPoha (thin variety)
  • 2 cupChopped onions
  • 1 cupChopped tomato
  • 5-6Green chillis chopped
  • 5-6Curry leaves
  • 1/2 cupCoriander leaves chopped
  • 1 cupGrated fresh coconut
  • 1 cupGrated cucumber
  • 1Lemon
  • 1 tspMethikut powder (optional)
  • 4 tspCooking oil
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 2 tspGround nuts
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 2Chilli balaka

Steps

  1. 1

    Keep all ingredients ready. Heat the oil in a pan. Deep fry chilli balaka, keep it aside. Season it with musterd seeds, ground nut, termeric, chillis,curry leaves, onions and tomato -saute well untill they are soft. Let it cool for five minutes.

    Take poha in vessel, put raw cucumber, coconut, coriander, salt, methikut powder, sqeeze lemon and add tadaka of onion, tomato and chillis. Mix well. POHA is ready to eat. Transe to a serving plate, enjoy with chilli balaka.
