Ingredients

  1. for pakwaan :
  2. 1 cup Maida / all purpose flour
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1 tspJeera / cumin
  5. as required Oil
  6. for daal :
  7. 1 cup soakedChana Dal / begal gram
  8. to taste Salt
  9. 1 green chillies chopped
  10. 1/4 tsp eacgHaldi (turmeric), Red chilli powder
  11. 1 pinchAmchur / dry mango
  12. FOR TADKA :
  13. 1 tsp Jeera /cumin
  14. 1 tsp Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients and bind stiff dough.
    Roll and prick it and fry till golden brown and crispy.

  2. 2

    Boil dal by adding salt and haldi and green chillies.
    Dont over cook.

  3. 3

    Serve in a bowl and sprinkle red chilli powder and amchur,in a apan heatoil add cumin and pour this tadka on daal

  4. 4

    Serve hot with pakwaan and green and sweet chutney.

  5. 5

    Garnish with coriander leaves and sliced onion and fried chilies.
