Ingredients

  • 2 quartscanned tomatoes
  • 2 cupssoup stock
  • 1/8 teaspoonsoda
  • 1 teaspoonflour
  • Celery salt
  • 1/2 pintcream
  • 1 pintmilk
  • 1 tablespoonbutter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Put tomatoes and stock in kettle add no water boil 10 minutes

  2. 2

    Strain through colander add soda strain through fine sieve

  3. 3

    Blend flour and butter add to milk add water

  4. 4

    In double boiler heat cream and milk

  5. 5

    Combine mixtures heat

  6. 6

    Season

  7. 7

    Little whipped cream when serving
