Anytime I make Abacha(African salad), I always crave kpomo to go with it and I also want it juicy so I thought out this recipe and it goes very well with my Abacha and any other dish

Anytime I make Abacha(African salad), I always crave kpomo to go with it and I also want it juicy so I thought out this recipe and it goes very well with my Abacha and any other dish

Wash kpomo thoroughly and place into your cooking pot

Season with 1 stock cube, ginger and garlic powder, half the onion bulb and some salt then cook for 10minutes with little water

Blend the tomato, Pepper and remaining onion together and set aside

In a saucepan over medium heat add in the vegetable oil and allow heat up, then pour in the blended ingredients and allow simmer for 3-5 minutes, then pour in the cooked kpomo (After cooking the kpomo, and the water almost if not all dried up)

Mix thoroughly to incorporate then add the 2nd stock cube (if need be)

Allow boil for about 3 minutes, put off cooking heat and serve with a meal or drink of choice
