I was kinda iffy on this one when my friend gave me the recipe because you don't actually see the flan or really taste it just gives the cake a better flavor and it is soooooo moist and yuuuuuummy....

I was kinda iffy on this one when my friend gave me the recipe because you don't actually see the flan or really taste it just gives the cake a better flavor and it is soooooo moist and yuuuuuummy....

Using a rectangular pan make the cake according to package. Once finished wait about 15 min and poke holes all around the cake using a straw. I use a straw with a wide hole. Make sure you don't go all the way through the bottom. Now take the syrup that comes in the flan package sit it in hot water for a few seconds to melt and the pour the syrup all over the cake.

While the cake is cooling make the flan according to package instructions. Set aside.

Once the flan starts to SLIGHTLY thicken up pour it all over the cake. Let it cool for about 30 minutes then place into the fridge for no less than 4 to 6 hours.

Now for the topping! The first time I made this I added a chocolate whip cream that I made with dream whip and some nesquick powder. It was very yummy. This time I made it I added salted caramel on top and was even better. I got the recipe for the caramel on here. The only thing was I would prefer the holes not to show.
