Aluvadi/ Patra
Clean Arabi leaves with the help of knife,wash and keep a side.Take besan add masala like ginger garlic paste, chilli and Coriander leaves paste, jaggery, tamarind pulp,dry masala: turmeric1/2 spoon, red chilli 1 spoon, coriander and cumin mix powder 1 spoon, whole cumin 1/2 teaspoon,garam masala 1/2 teaspoon, salt to taste make semi liquid paste.. - 2
Now arrange leaves one by one applying besan paste on it and make a roll see pic.
Now steam all roll.I steam it in pot.You can steam it in cooker but don't put whistle steam for 25 minutes and keep for cooling. Cut the roll into pieces. Now put one frying pan on flame arrange patra pieces on it and pour very little oil on each pieces and roast till golden brown on both the sides. - 3
