One-Pot Fajita Pasta

This is a all in one pasta meal. Be warned it has a kick to it but there are subs to this it's very tasty and very filling and great for the whole family and best of all it only takes 30-35 mins to prep and cook :-)

This is a all in one pasta meal. Be warned it has a kick to it but there are subs to this it's very tasty and very filling and great for the whole family and best of all it only takes 30-35 mins to prep and cook :-)
Steps
- 1
Heat oil in a large pot over high heat.
- 2
Add chicken and cook until no pink is visible, then take the chicken out.
- 3
Add the bell peppers and onion and cook until the onion is translucent.
- 4
Add the chicken back to the pot with salt, pepper, chilli powder, cumin, and garlic powder, stirring until evenly coated.
- 5
Add the milk and the penne, stirring constantly to prevent any pasta from sticking.
- 6
Cook for about 8-10 minutes until pasta is cooked and the milk has reduced to a thick sauce that coats the pasta
- 7
Add the cheese and mix until melted
- 8
Then serve. Serve with your favourite garlic bread and enjoy.

There are many substitutes to this mix and try different combos and add your results on here 1. if you don't like things to spicy or you are serving this to kids then use a mild chilli powder. 2. not everywhere serves pepper Jack cheese so you can use a cheddar or any other cheese that is great for melting and becomes like a sticky goo.
