Ingredients

15 minutes
  • 1 cupmoong sprouts (coarsely ground)
  • 1/2 cupspinach puree
  • 1/4 cupgrated carrots
  • 2 tbspbesan
  • 1 tspginger green chilli paste
  • To tasteSalt
  • Pinchhing
  • Pinchturmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda or fruit salt

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all the above ingredients in a big bowl. Pour the batter in a greased tin and steam for about 15-18 minutes.
    Remove from steamer and let it cool.

    For tempering,
    Heat a tsp oil in a pan, crackle jeera, mustard seeds, sesame, curry leaves and crushed garlic (optional)
    Pour the tadka over dhokla. Cut and serve.

Hey for this recipe do you need to sprout the whole green moong or can be made with soaked moong as well?
