Black pearl millet flour/ bajra flour is used with grated bottle gourd ( dhudhi) and spices to make this nutritious Thepla.

In mixing bowl add bajra flour, wheat flour, grated dhudhi, chopped coriander leaves,green chillies ginger paste, salt,oil, asafoetida, cumin seeds and sesame seeds mix and add curd and bind to semi soft dough.Make 12 equal portions balls.

Flatten each prepared ball, roll out with help of wheat flour 4-5" diameter roti. Roast on tawa with oil on both sides. Similarly prepared all bajra- dhudhi theplas.

Serve/ Relish Hot Nutritious Bajra-Dhudhi Thepla with chundaa,gujarati kadhi,tomato- sev subzi, khichdi for complete meal.
