Wash and clean the raw mutton leg.Rub it with ghee and abit of salt. Pressure cook it for 30 mins.Remove from flame and keep aside without opening the cooker lid.

Now dry grind the cardamom,cinnamon and cloves together.

Also grind together onion,garlic and ginger to make a smooth paste.

Grind seperately cashews and pumpkin seeds into a smooth paste.Mix the paste with curd.

Now mix together all the spices.Marinate the mutton leg in the mixture for an hour.

Heat oil in a deep based pan.put the marinated leg piece in it.Add a little water and requisite salt and sugar on a low flame stirring occasionally.

When meat becomes tender and the gravy thickens, add rosewater and cook for a few more minutes. Remove from the flame. Serve with vegetable salad.
