Ingredients

  • 1 cupCooked Rice
  • 1-1 and 1/4 cup Besan
  • 1 tbspRava
  • 1Finely Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbspChopped Green Coriander
  • 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1 tspDhania Jeera Powder
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ajwain Seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • as neededWater
  • as neededOil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl, mix all the above ingredients except water. Add red chilli powder, dhania jeera powder and salt according to your taste. Mix well. Then gradually add water as required to make thick batter like moong pakoda batter.

  2. 2

    Heat up the oil in a deep kadhai and deep fry pakoda till it turns golden brown.

    Serve hot with tamarind dates chutney and fried green chillies.
