In a bowl add the flour baking powder,salt, sugar nutmeg and mix then together then break the egg add veg oil and mix again. Add water and mix very well until smooth

Set a frying pan on fire with oil when hot add scoop the batter in to the oil and fry it until done then remove from the fire and serve
