In a mixer grinder,grind the leftover rice with little water. Collect all the ingredients.

Add grinded rice, flour and gram flour to a mixing bowl. Add curd to it.

Add water to make a batter and keep it aside for 4-5 hours. After 5 hours of resting,add turmeric powder and baking soda to it.

To make sugar syrup take sugar,water and saffron strands in a pan and make one string syrup on low flame.

Heat oil in a wok and make concentric circles of jalebi with a ketchup bottle or any cone.

Fry the jalebis till brown on both sides and then keep them dipped in warm sugar syrup for 1-2 minutes. Take out in plate and serve after garnishing with chopped almonds and pistachios.
