Moong Dal Kachoris

First let’s make the dough

Take all purpose flour in a deep pan. Add carrom seeds and salt to it.

Now add ghee to it and mix it well.

Take water and knead a soft dough. Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

Let’s prepare our stuffing.

Take a pan. Switch on the flame in between low and medium. Once oil get heated add hing and cumin seeds to it. Once cumin seeds start cracking. Add coarsely crushed coriander seeds and fennel seeds to it.

Fry it for couple of minutes. Now add Besan to it. Roast it for another couple of minutes. Till the Besan starts giving nice aroma.

Now add all the dry masala to it. Fry it for another couple of minutes.

Now add moong dal to it. And roast it well. Til the grain of dal gets separated.

Let’s make kachoris. Take little dough and make tennis size ball. Roll it a little bit. Add two spoonful of dal mixture filling to it and seal it very properly.

Repeat the process till all kachoris are ready to fry.

Heat oil in kadhai I low medium heat.

Make sure your oil is not very hot.

To check the oil take a Woden ladle put back side of it in a oil. When few bubbles starts coming up your oil is ready to fry kachoris.

Fry all kachoris in low medium flame till golden brown.
