Ingredients

  1. Chicken thigh / wings
  2. Marinate ingredients A
  3. Corn starch / Potato starch
  4. 1/2 tspSalt and pepper
  5. 1 tspbrown sugar
  6. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  7. 2beaten egg
  8. Sauce ingredients B
  9. 1 1/2 tbspMarmite
  10. 1 tbspMaltose (in hot water)
  11. 1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  12. 2 tspbrown sugar
  13. 1 tbspdark soy sauce
  14. 1 tspsesame oil
  15. 3 clovesgarlic

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Marinate chicken with ingredients A for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Deep fry marinated chicken in medium hot oil until golden brown and crispy skin.

  3. 3

    Stir fry garlic till aroma and add sauce ingredients B, and add 1/2 cup water. Stir sauce until boil and thicken, then add back fried chicken.

  4. 4

    Turn off heat and stir for a few seconds to let sauce coat the chicken. Garnish with sesame seeds if you have and decorate with coriander and serve.

I have been cooking for 10 years mainly in Chinese cuisine. My cooking gears are some simple carbon steel wok, cast iron pot, marble pot, steamer, pressure cooker and air fryer. Most ingredients are common seafood, meat, poultry, herbs and spices can be found in local markets. I enjoy home cooking over the weekends and keep on researching and exploring new recipes and excited to share my new delicious recipes to all of you!
