A oil free version of dal with not a drop of oil but yet flavourful.
Steps

Wash the dal and put in the pressure cooker.

Add water, salt, turmeric, cumin seeds, onions, tomatoes, hing, red chilli powder, ginger- garlic- green chilli paste. Mix well and switch on the flame. After the first whistle simmer for 20 minutes and switch off.

Let the pressure release on it's own. Open the lid,switch on the flame, add garam masala, coriander leaves and some more water if required and bring to a boil.

Serve with rice and garnish with some coriander leaves.
