Mkate wa tandoori with coconut bean stew
Cooking Instructions

Mix all your dry ingredients then rub in the margarine. You can also use butter

Break the egg into the dry ingredients and mix well

Add milk gradually as you mix everything. Knead the dough until its non sticky. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes

Divide the dough into small pieces. Roll out this.point is to achieve round shapes the size of a DVD disc. You can use a saucer to shape.

Heat a heavy non stick pan and place your rolled out dough. Let it cook, once the bottom is cooked turn and let the other side cook. No oil is used

Enjoy your mkate wa tandoori with stew of your choice. I enjoyed mine with coconut bean stew
