Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds.

Then add the crushed coriander seeds and hing and saute for few seconds on lower heat.

Add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder. Saute for a minute.

Add the potatoes and toss with the spices.

Let the potatoes cook for 2 to3 minutes on medium heat.

Serve jeera aalo with paratha.
