Yamball II
This is made with love for my family, it's one of our snacks for iftar.
Steps

Cut, peel and wash yam, add to a pot together with salt and water, cook until soft enough

Use a masher and mash the cooked yam, add grated onions, scotch bonnets, spices and seasonings. Mix everything together until well corporated.

Mould mashed yam into medium size balls and coat with breadcrumbs
- 4
Heat oil, whisk egg in a bowl, dip yamballs in egg and fry until golden brown, serve warm.
