Steps

Prepare 12 cup muffin pan by generously greasing with2 tbsp butter

Take one strip of the pastry dough and roll to flatten on parchment paper

Make a horizontal cut in the strip to divide into two strips

Wash and core Apple. Cut in half and slice into thin strips
- 5
Spread 1 tsp of the apricot jam onto one strip of the pastry. Sprinkle with cinnamon and and a few walnuts

Layer the sliced apples vertically on the pastry strip leaving enough dough to fold over apple slices. Layer the apple slices from beginning to end of the prepared pastry strip. Fold the dough over the apple slices to form an envelope. Roll the pastry in a circle and place in the generously buttered muffin tin.

Continue this process until all the party strips have been used. Add more ingredients as needed to completely use the dough.

Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven. Cool completely and sprinkle with powered sugar

Serve warm or at room temperature. Recipe makes 8 roses.
