Soak your chickpeas overnight to soften them.They will expand in size.

Drain the water.Then in a food processor,process the chickpeas until smooth.Don't add any water.

You can add a little bit of water to it just enough for it to pulse into a smooth mixture.Add your onion and garlic to this mixture add process them together.

Once satisfied,remove and put in a bowl.Add your cumin,coriander powder,chopped coriander,black pepper powder,salt and the bread crumbs.Mix well altogether.This is how it will look once everything is mixed together.

Just before frying and in your baking soda and baking powder and mix well.Put your pan with oil and once the oil is ready shape into small rounds and fry them.

Fry them on medium heat and once all browned remove from the pan.

Serve with coconut chutney or some nice spicy ukwaju.
