1. In a bowl cook bitter gourd in pinch of salt and turmeric. Once cooked drain water and keep aside. Mostly water will get observed by bitter gourd.
2. Heat oil in kadai add mustard and cumin. Once mustard crackle add sliced onion, garlic. Once onion done add green chilli, curry leaves and saute for a minute.

3. Now add chilli powder, remaining turmeric powder, coriander and curry powder. Add salt. Cook until oil comes out from pan.
4. Add cooked bitter gourd. Mix thoroughly until masalas coast on each and every side of bitter gourd. Do it carefully don't break the shape of bitter gourd. Do this process in low flame.

5. Now add cooked rice and mix it slowly and nicely. Adjust salt level. Finally add grated coconut and coriander leaves. Serve hot with papad..
