Sabudana khichdi is one of the easiest dish to make when you are fasting. A quick and delicious sabudana khichdi is made with sago or sabudana pearls, potatoes, peanuts and a very few spices. Try this simple recipe to make perfect non sticky sabudana khichdi.

Firstly, make sure that sabudana is perfectly soaked and turns soft.

Now add peanut powder, salt, black pepper powder, sugar and lemon juice to the soaked sabudana. Mix well and keep aside.

Heat ghee or oil in a pan on low medium flame.

When oil is heated, add cumin seeds. Let it crackle and add potato cubes.

Saute till potato cubes turn golden brown.

Add in the green chillies and curry leaves, saute for few seconds.

Once the potato is soft and golden, add in the sabudana and peanut mixture to it. Mix well.

Cover the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame.

Lastly garnish with chopped coriander leaves and fried potato cubes(optional).

Serve hot.
