Ingredients

  1. 10-15lady’s finger (as per requirement)
  2. 1 tspturmeric powder
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 4-5 tbspmustard oil
  5. 1 cupcurd
  6. 1 tbspJeera
  7. 1Green chilli
  8. 1 tbspMustard seeds
  9. 4-5curry leaves
  10. 1 tbspsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Add half a cup of water to 1 cup of curd and whisk well. Add 1 tbsp sugar. Add salt as per taste and mix well. Set aside
    In another vessel, take the lady’s finger (sliced from between). Do not cut the lady’s finger into half.

  2. 2

    Add salt as per taste, turmeric powder and mix well. Make sure the masala in well coated.
    In a small pot, add 4-5 tbsp mustard oil, 1 tbsp jeera, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli. Sauté them well and add the marinated lady’s finger to it

  3. 3

    Let the lady’s finger fry until they turn golden brown.
    Transfer the ladies finger in the curd batter
    Your dahi bhindi is ready to be enjoyed.
