Make a marinade first I used soy sauce paprika mixed herbs Worcestershire sauce thyme and dried onions and 1tsp garlic powder make a mixture of the spices and pour over the chunks mix properly until everything is nicely coated.. then marinate between 1hour to overnight

Heat your pan really hot and add 1/2tsp oil

Sear your meat on both sides the pan has to be extra hot so it seals all the juices inside and set aside

On the same pan add the onions and garlic and cook until soft
- 5
Add carrots and the puréed tomatoes cover and let it cook for a few minutes you can add tomato paste if you want

Add 2cups water and let it simmer for a few minutes

Add fresh thyme and sage

Arrange your cuts in a multicooker or a slow cooker or even a pot to cook on a jiko or slow cook on gas anything that you use

Pour the sauce over the beef and set 8hours to slow cook
- 10
You can slow cook from 6-10 hours just depends on what you’re using

Serve with any accompaniment you like
