Ingredients

  1. 3 cupssugar
  2. 3 cupsevaporated milk
  3. 1 1/2 cupbutter
  4. 4eggs (beaten)
  5. 2 cupsflaked coconut
  6. 1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

Steps

  1. 1

    Add sugar and evaporated milk to pit and stir

  2. 2

    Add butter and stir over low to medium heat until butter melts

  3. 3

    Beat eggs lightly and add to mixture

  4. 4

    Stir until mixture begins to form bubble

  5. 5

    Stir in coconuts plus 6 tsp of vanilla

  6. 6

    Take off heat. Cover and refrigerate until cool and thickened
