Steps

Take poha in a colander and wash under running water. Once washed nicely toss it and keep it in the colander only for the excess water to drain out.

In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and roast 2 tbsp peanuts on low flame, roast until the peanuts turn crunchy.

Take them out with a slotted spoon and keep aside

In the same oil, splutter 1 tsp mustard, and few curry leaves.

Now add 1 onion, 2 chilli and saute onions till they turn slightly pink.

Now add peas and sauté for 5-7 minutes
Add ¼ tsp turmeric and saute well.

Now add in the washed poha and mix gently until everything is combined well.

Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the flavours are absorbed well.

Add sugar, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 tsp lemon juice and mix gently.

Enjoy kanda poha topped with some sev, bhujia or some extra spicy peanuts and a cup of tea.
