Blend all the ingredients for the marinade. Chop the onion finely and keep separate. Marinate the chicken. If sauce is too spicy, add yogurt to dilute it.

Cook the onions in olive oil. Add the chicken and cook. Cover with lid and simmer.

Garnish with cilantro and onions. Serve with rice or chapaati.
