Ingredients

3servings
  1. 1 cupbesan
  2. 1 tbspsalt
  3. 1 tbspsugar
  4. 2 tbspchopped green chilli
  5. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. 1/4 tbspTurmeric powder
  7. 1 tbspLime juice
  8. Water as required
  9. 1 tbspeno
  10. Tadka:
  11. 1 tbspoil
  12. 2 tbspcurry leaves
  13. 1 tbspJeera
  14. 1 tbspmustard seeds
  15. 1 tbspgreen chilli

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl add besan,salt,sugar, haldi powder, green chilli, gingergarlic paste, lime juice, gradually add water and whisk in a single direction for 4to 5 mins.
    Add eno and mix well.

    Grease pan with oil and pour prepared batter then tab on working table 2-3 times.

    In boiling water place steam rack and prepared batter pan, cover and steam cook on medium flame for 25mins. Dokla is ready Turn off the flame and let it rest for 5mins then remove pan from steam rack.

    For tadka:
    Take a pan add oil, zeera, rai, curry leaves, green chilli and mix well.Now invert the dhokla in a plate and
    Remove the pan,
    Pour tadka evenly on the dhokla.

    Cut dhokla into square pieces and serve
